Electrical Inspection
Thorough electrical system inspections for home sales, renovations, or safety checks. We identify code violations, hazards, and aging components before they become problems.
Schedule and Walkthrough
We discuss your concerns, the age of your home, and any recent work. We'll schedule a time when we have full access to the panel, attic, basement, and all areas.
Comprehensive Inspection
We test and examine your electrical system from the service entrance to every outlet. We document conditions, measure voltages, check grounding, and verify GFCI and AFCI protection.
Written Report and Recommendations
You receive a detailed report with photos, code references, and prioritized recommendations. We review it with you and answer any questions.
Repairs if Needed
If issues are found, we provide a clear estimate for repairs. As licensed electricians, we can handle everything from minor fixes to full panel upgrades.
How long does an electrical inspection take?+
Most residential inspections take 2 to 4 hours depending on the size of the home, number of panels, and accessibility. We don't rush—thoroughness matters.
Is this the same as a home inspector's electrical check?+
No. Home inspectors provide a general overview. We're licensed electricians who perform a detailed, code-focused inspection with testing equipment. Our reports are more comprehensive and meet requirements for insurance and municipal use.
Will I need to make repairs right away?+
It depends on what we find. We prioritize issues by safety risk. Some items—like exposed wiring or missing GFCI protection—should be addressed immediately. Others, like cosmetic panel issues or minor code updates, can be planned over time.
